user_80d01d - You’ve reached the right place for help—I’d be reaching out too if I wasn’t able to fully enjoy my services. This definitely is not the experience we want for anyone. The good news is we’re here and ready to help If one or more of your Xfinity services aren’t working, there are a few easy ways to check if there’s a known interruption in your area. The Xfinity app is a great place to start, as it lets you quickly view your account status. If no interuption is reported, you can also use the app to run troubleshooting steps right from your device. Additionally, the Status Center is another helpful tool where you can check your connection status, identify any service issues, and see if there are local interruptions in your area. It’s designed to help pinpoint problems and guide you to simple solutions.
In some instances, we can determine your service status. If you've registered your mobile phone number for Comcast Alerts, you will receive proactive SMS text messages providing that information, as well as estimated resolution timeframes, periodic updates and a final message when the services are restored.
Additionally, you can text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) to check for interruptions in your area. (Data and messaging rates may apply.) You also have the option to receive a text message update as soon as your Xfinity services are restored.
I also wanted to share info about Xfinity hotspots which may help. Xfinity has millions of WiFi hotspots throughout our service area to make sure you’re always connected. When in range of a hotspot, look for the xfinitywifi in the list of available networks on your device. You can use your Xfinity ID and password to connect. I hope this info helps!
