I have a newly renovated house that currently has no coaxial ports for internet hookup. The house needs to be wired for internet. How do I begin a service request for this service?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @awgroup
Thank you for your interest in continuing as a member of the Comcast Family in your newly renovated home! Comcast does not prewired homes. You'll need to contact an electrician to perform that type of work such as wall fishing. Wall fishing is the process of running wires through walls using tools like fish sticks, glow sticks, and fish tape. Electricians use these techniques to update wiring without removing drywall. What we can do is install outlets and activate pre-installed outlets in your home for a fee.
I can recommend an awesome electrician service called HelloTech. They're a nationwide service with local technicians in every metropolitan area across the United States. Comcast currently partners with HelloTech to provide help with services that we don't offer, such as:
Xfinity customers can receive up to 25% discount on HelloTech installation.* Customers can schedule services with them directly by visiting or calling:
*Discount amount varies based on the number of eligible devices installed. Restrictions apply. Not available in all areas. Discount applies to regular price and applied at checkout. May not be combined with other offers or discounts. Offer may be terminated or changed at any time. For more information, visit hellotech.com/xfinity-care.
