Internet goes out every day

My internet service goes out almost every day. What is going on and why can't you fix the problem?

Hello @user_mw6s9i Sorry to hear about the repeated drops in your connection. We certainly understand the importance of a reliable connection and want to help resolve this for you. Are you receiving any notifications about system interruptions impacting your area? If not what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

@XfinityMatthew​ yes. I get notices but I pay for a service that has been unreliable as of late and would like an explanation.  I live in North Beach, MD

Let's take a look at the account and area to see what we can find out for you. Please send us a direct message with your full name and the service address to get started. 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support: 
Click "Sign In" if necessary 
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon 
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there 
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list 
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line 
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it.
