Internet Essentials and Voice services
Very disappointed to find out that my phone/voice services were disconnected without notice just after having been approved for Internet essentials. I am a senior and I struggle with the cost of all of these services so I was grateful to get approved for Internet essentials and the ACP. However, no one can tell me why my home phone services were disconnected without being told or given a heads up. I need my home phone services as I am undergoing chemo and all of my family is out of town and my family doctors and everyone calls my home phone. I have had my number since 1976 and I need my old number. They are telling me I have to give up Internet essentials and get back on regular cable to get the voice service back. Is this true and why was I disconnected. Spent a full day being bounced around from one representative to another, two representatives didn't want to give me a manager and left me on hold for more than 30 minutes to later disconnect the call. Very frustrating. Please help me
