Internet down again costing me 2 days of work in the span of a month.

This is the second time in like 30 days the internet has been completely down the entire day. The estimated time to fix both times kept getting pushed back until they just give up and say “asap.” I had to use 2 sick days since I work from home. I don’t understand how such a large company can undergo 2 outages like this? I’m getting tired of this incompetence and lack of communication to update customers. Can’t wait for fiber to be offered in my location

@Tzuyu2, thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here using the Xfinity Community Forums page. I know how impactful a loss of service can be as a consumer myself who relies on the internet for school and work daily. Are you still currently undergoing the disruption to your service?

It turned on at 9:01pm pst. I signed up for text alerts and never received any updates either.

@Tzuyu2 I work from home myself and understand how important that connection is. I know that we have been performing network upgrades to improve speeds, I just underwent them myself and was without internet for 2 days while the work was completed. You can click here to request a credit for the time you were without services.

If your services go out again today please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address so we can take a look at the account.
