Internet cutting out, technician said would send someone else out but I have no idea if he's coming

Even on ethernet my internet has been cutting out a lot recently so I had a technician come out yesterday. After testing he said yes there's was a bunch of errors on the connection and it was definitely a problem. He said it was actually the connection coming into the building from the pole in the street. I said ok is there anything you can do, he said he wasn't equipped to do work like that so he would put in the request for the person who could tomorrow.

I said alright that's fine do I have to schedule an appointment or do anything on my end, and he said no it was all set for tomorrow. Well it's tomorrow and I never saw anyone working outside and the internet still cuts out. Now I'm left with no appointment to check or anyone to call so I'm not sure where to go from here.  If someone is coming that's great but I have no way of knowing or checking anything.

I'm just going to have to call a technician to come out again which seems like a waste of time.

user_8jvxba, hi there! I apologize about your experience, and do thank you so much for reaching out! When it comes to this, it seems as if a ticket on the backend could have been placed. Those backend tickets are only visual within our systems because they generally do not have a timeframe but most importantly, do not require someone to be present 18 or older. I can check your account to see what was placed. Let's get your service to some stability.

To move forward with your concern, please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address. From there I can authenticate your account and assist you further.

To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a live chat.
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
