Internet cable ripped ripped from ground

In April a storm knocked a tree over which uprooted our fence and internet cable line. It’s sticking up from the ground about 1-2 feet high and 5-6 feet long in our yard where our young children play. This is a SAFETY HAZARD. We got the tree out of the way and contact Xfinity. We have contacted them 4 times and it has not been fixed. This is the 5th. Yesterday was the second no show of the drop bury team and now our ticket it closed. Again, this is a safety hazard and needs fixed ASAP.

user_3u3sdi Welcome to our community forum! Thank you for letting us know that you still have a cable that needs to be buried safely underground. Are your Xfinity services being affected by the exposed cable?

Our internet has been working. It’s just the safety hazard of it sticking up out of our yard.

@user_3u3sdi thank you for confirming the service isn't being affected, there are different types of work orders for line work jobs depending on the status of service. Now that I know which route is needing to be taken, I'd definitely like to investigate further and help get the safety concern resolved.

Since I'll need to gather some information that we don't want here in our public conversation.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
