Internet cable re-wire or Wireless solution possible?

Good afternoon,

I made this post during the winter.  But the xFinity agent asked me to submit again during the summer in case work needs to be done on the roof of the house.  My internet is working fine.  The issue is that the cable coming from outside was not installed properly.  The installers routed it through the inside of the house.  The correct installation would have been to route it outside the house and drill into the room where the cable modem resides.  An xFinity tech needs to stop by and review the installation and see if the cable can be re-routed from the outside and/or if a wireless solution is possible.

Thank you for reaching out to our community forum, @regulat0r! We can definitely help you get the cable rerouted. Is your modem currently located on an exterior wall? Our technicians can install an outlet by drilling a hole through an exterior wall from outside.
