Internet cable leading to my house is damaged at one spot

Hi,


Exterior cable leading to my house was cut during a contractor work. We did put in 811 request and marking was off and the cable got nicked at one place. Should i fix it myself or will Xfinity come and fix it. I need internet urgently as I work from home. Please let me know how to best address this issue. Thanks!
