I will be moving to Michigan. Can I use my router, password, and network name to continue with Comcast Xfinity just by plugging in?

Thanks for reaching out to us, depending on your current location of your services you may not be able to transfer your service to a different market area.

 

But you could cancel your current account and open up your new account in your new market area and use your same Comcast e-mail username and password. This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/switching-between-multiple-accounts has great information on how to link and unlink your Xfinity ID from multiple addresses.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us: 

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
