internet 5 year guarantee
I have been a Comcast customer in Florida for almost 20 years; 6 years at my current address. Last year I upgraded to a 1Gig internet plan. After one year the discount was reduced. I am now paying $80/month ($119 - $39), for which the discount will end next January 1. I saw a promotion on Facebook and checked the Comcast website and see that it is now only $50/month for 5 years, whereas I'll be charged $119. And it states only for new customers. I guess that loyal long-term customers don't count. I live in an area that is also served by Frontier/Verizon which has the same price and 5 year guarantee. I have trouble justifying staying, and I prefer not to call a customer service rep and go through a long negotiation.
