Intermittent Outages
My service from Xfinity is intermittent. I lose both the TV and the internet at random times and the outages last anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour. In each case, the service returns without any action on my part. In April I lost service 4 times, in May I lost service once, in June I lost service 5 times, and so far, I have lost service 7 times in July. I know that it is not my modem or cable box, since both the TV and the modem lose signal at the same time and in each case, service returns without any need to reset any of the equipment.
I'm at a loss as to what to do. Since the outages are brief and random, sending a technician to the house wouldn't accomplish much since everything would be OK when they came to the house.
Is anyone else getting these intermittent losses of service and were you able to resolve the issue?
