Intermittent Internet

Started having trouble weeks ago, felt my router and modem were dated so I bought high end ASUS router and Netgear modem.  Both compatible with Xfinity by the way.

Internet and TV both dropping after equipment upgrade so called technician and they came to investigate.  Replaced some splitters but found no issues.

Internet and TV still dropping 15-20 times a day which makes Teams calls impossible, got on chat and reset modem and router as instructed, worthless advice really as it solved nothing.

My neighbor is having the same issues so I am certain it is not equipment and Xfinity has cancelled tech visits 2 times this weekend.  As a 13 year client I expect better than what we are getting from customer service and the product we are buying.

Techs are coming tomorrow but at this point my work is suffering.  If there is even 1 drop after tomorrow I will go to fiber optic and suffer the consequences of replacing my equipment.  This is a sad situation.

The concern is not "Community Knowledge Base" related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

located in S. Florida .. around 10 am today (9/15/24)  internet dropped for a short while .. when it reconected, my connection speed went to 600 mb to 2 mb .. rebooting Xfinity modem makes no difference.
Xfinity outage map shows eveything is OK in my area ..what a relief.   :-(   Switched to hot spot on my cellphone to get a decent connection. Grrrrrr.
