Intermittent connectivity issues

The other night I was having connection issues and slow speeds and I set up a technician appointment. The next morning my internet seemed fine so I canceled the appointment. The issue happened again last night to where I am getting less than 50% of my paid internet speeds to my modem. I know this from the speed to gateway test in the Xfinity app. I'm keeping my technician appointment I made last night for now since this is an intermittent connectivity issue so this may happen again tonight. I need to make sure I do NOT get charged for this technician appointment. This is NOT the customer's fault. When Logged into the Xfinity website it says, “an outage has been detected, you may be experiencing service interruptions.” After I click see details it says, channel(s) impaired. We’re aware that you may be experiencing issues with your Xfinity services. And are working to resolve them as soon as possible. What is going on with the channel(s) impaired exactly? When will this be fixed? This is causing me issues at my job and I could not work last night again. I need credit for my internet for last night and until this gets resolved.
