Installing coaxial outlet

I moved into an apartment recently which has no internet connection via an ethernet port or coaxial outlet. Is it possible one could be installed in the apartment? I have no idea if there is even a cable existent in the building at all.

I am happy help establish an account with you! With an apartment, if there is no coaxial cable in any room, that would first have to be installed by the owner of the apartment owners. Our services are delivered via coaxial cable and if we are a provider in your area, typically those cables are already ran within the walls and finding the outlet or where the outlet should be (some of ours were inadvertently covered during a recent remodel) and may need to be either found or installed first. Have you reached out to the management office to arrange the installation of the coaxial cable?

I have emailed the landlord with no response. I believe the apartment has been remodeled and there is a blank plate in the bathroom but nowhere else. Im not too sure internet would be routed into a bathroom but who knows.

user_xgy5i4 It's possible it could have been covered up during the remodel. We can install a new coax on a outside wall. To get started, can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
