Installation

Have had multiple appointments scheduled to have my internet line reinstalled outside and re-buried seeing as the original tech installed it less than an inch underground and it was unearthed. My upload speed is 1.5 mbps!! That is slower than satellite internet! For 2 weeks, no tech has showed up. I call and make another appointment, no call, no text, no email... just no show. To call the customer service line and be told that appointment wasn't valid, was delayed or needed to be rescheduled. For 2 weeks I have worked from home with terrible signal while waiting for xfinity to make it right. I need someone to come re-install this line and re-bury it or I'm ready to just go to AT&T at this point at least they have locations in person I can speak to!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_v5vykl Hello! Thank you for making the post and sharing with us the trouble we have been having with the internet service at your home. I'm sorry that no one has made it out yet to replace the line and set up a new order to have the line correctly buried. I know how difficult it is to try to work from home with interruptions. It makes everything delayed.
I would love to help and make sure that we have someone out there, and we will follow up with you here to ensure the service is working 100% again.
Since I need to search your account specifics can you please send us a direct message with your name and service address?
Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.
