Is it a common practice for a technician to hang about 150 ft of extra fiber optic cable and conduit from the top of the pole where they connected my service?

Hello, @user_twkhq2 thank you for taking time out to create a post here over Xfinity Forums. Yes, a technician may leave additional cable at the pole. When first installed, typically a temporary line is placed, then a permanent line is connected from the pole to the home. I've also found that additional fiber optic cable may be left for future maintenance/repair work.
