Installation with no existing cable jack

The house we are moving into was just renovated. It has a cable line inside the house, but no cable jacks. Can an Xfinity technician add a cable jack as part of either Self Install Plus or Professional install? Thanks!

Hi there, @user_3f842d

I appreciate you reaching out about your new home and the outlet needs. While our technicians do not complete wall phishing requests, they are able to install an outlet during a professional installation. This would be something we would need to manually add to the installation order, if this interests you.

@XfinityMary Thanks for the response! Yes, I would like to add that. How can I add that? I called Xfinity, and they added that we need a jack installed to the notes for our Self Install Plus (when I signed up for the appointment, professional installation was not offered online). Are those notes what you mean, or do we need to do anything else?

Thanks for letting me know about the notes added to your Self Install Plus! Let's go ahead and get your account details privately so we can help out and provide you with more details.
