Installation of pedestal/tap (open, unresponsive ticket)
Hello,
I bought a new house and was assured by 3 different customer support representatives that the new address was serviced by Xfinity, and a transfer service apt. was scheduled. The installation technician said my area was "pending construction" despite the neighbors to the east and west of me being Xfinity customers. I was told a pedestal/tap needed to be installed, but all I can get for a timeline is "soon". I work from home and cannot get internet from any other business; I would like to keep Xfinity as a provider, but am getting frustrated with the misinformation and lack of initiative.
I've also been charged for the month despite not having service provided and now have to go back to customer service and fight to get a refund. Please come and install a pedestal so I can get internet or at least provide a timeline for the pending construction.

Concern moved here for greater exposure to actual Comcast employees.

Oh no! I'm truly sorry to hear of this experience. I know this last year so many have transitioned to working from home and reliable internet is an absolute must have! I would love the opportunity to look into what is happening. Please send us a private message with your name and service address to Xfinity Support by clicking the chat icon at the top right of the page.

For those following this thread or who find this later and have a similar issue: I have sent a private message to Xfinity Support (5.10.21), as directed by ComcastBillie. I will post any progress/resolution as it's provided.
