Installation delayed nearly 20 days
I had an Xfinity internet installation appointment scheduled for today. The technician called me once, and I missed the call. I called back immediately, but the number only routed me to the automated Xfinity system, so I had no way to contact the technician directly.
I immediately went downstairs to look for the technician, but no one was there. The technician never rang my building buzzer or doorbell and apparently left within just a few minutes.
My appointment has now been rescheduled to next Thursday, and I have already been waiting nearly 20 days to get internet installed.
I have contacted Xfinity agents multiple times, but the only solution I have been offered is being placed on the appointment waitlist, which currently has no earlier availability.
Could an Xfinity employee please escalate this to the local dispatch team or help arrange an earlier installation appointment? I don't believe I should have to wait another week because the technician left without making a reasonable attempt to reach me.

HI there, @user_h1uu6k! I am sorry to hear we were not able to connect to get your visit completed today. I understand wanting that done so you can use your service. The waitlist is recommended in case a sooner appointment time becomes available. You will be asked if you would like that one instead. We can check and see if there are any sooner times as well.
