Incredibly Unhappy with Professional Internet Install
My wife and I recently purchased a new house and had to have professional installation for the internet. Previous owners had cut all the coax connections at the junction box on the house.
The installer was very polite but the worksmanship left A LOT to be desired. I understood before bringing someone out there would be limitations to installation (our house is nearly 100 years old and has only two coax hookups inside, both of which previously were serviced through a cable outside). I expected a cable to have to run outside to reach the coax hookups. But I did not expect a bright orange coax cable to be used. Or for that cable to be haphazardly attached to the siding (rather than running it below the lip of the siding, it just sort of randomly snakes along the side of the house). Or for the technician to end up drilling two holes into the house to feed the cable in each of which was only partially filled with silicone.
Needless to say that I’m annoyed about the results of this service that cost $100.
