Incorrect programming April 5, 2025

There appears to be an issue with channel 1182, which is listed as MeTV+ on the Xfinity Stream service. However, the programming currently airing on this channel is not that of MeTV+, but rather a duplicate of the content being shown on its sister station, MeTV. This discrepancy suggests that channel 1182 is not broadcasting the correct content

Brownk23 Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums and for letting us know about the MeTV+ (channel 1182) issue on Xfinity Stream. I understand it's showing the wrong content.

Xfinity provides you access to the channel, but the networks control the programming. I would be happy to review your channel line up with you to make sure you that channel 1182 is the best option for watching MeTV+. To get started, please send our team a Direct Message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account. 

 

To send a "Direct Message" message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

METV works on my other tvs but not on the main tv that has the box attached.  Help.

Can you tell me a little more about what's happening? When you try tuning to MeTV on your primary cable box does it show you an error message, or is it broadcasting a different channel? Do your other TVs use a cable box, or are you using the Xfinity Stream app?
