Inconsistent Information when moving

I want to share my feedback regarding my recent experience trying to arrange internet and T.V services for our new home, while coordinating the cancellation of services at our current home. I spoke with a sales rep on the phone who offered me a very competitive five-year new customer promotion for internet and T.V. While I appreciated the pricing my primary concern was understanding the process and timing for having a new cable line installed and buried from the street to our home. When I explainded that I needed more information about the cable installation before committing to the service, the rep became noticeably frustrated. He told me that he had spent a considerable amout of time finding me a good price and made comments about how I had wasted his time. Even after I explainded that my priority was making sure the necessary infrastructure would be in place before our move, his tone was forceful and unprofessional. I found this interaction extremely disappointing and gave him low scores on the text survey. I should not feel pressured to commit to a service before receiving answers to reasonable questions. Today I visited the Xfinity retail store in my area where I had a much more positive experience. The employee was helpful, professional and worked very hard at trying to answer my questions. The process of wanting to make sure I have a cable buried to the house before the ground freezes and setting up service to a house I won't be living at for another 6 weeks has been frustrating. When I asked about the promotional price I had recieved over the phone I was told that the instore sales team does not have access to the phone sales teams promotions, and the instore could only offer me something substantially higher in monthly costs. Xfinity needs to take a closer look at how it supports customers who are moving, particularly those moving to newly constructed homes. Coordinating cable installation, service activation, promotional pricing, and cancellation of service at a previous address should be straightforward, a consitent process regardless of whether a customer contacts Xfinity by phone or visits a retail location. It is also concerning that customers may receive different pricing and service informations depending on who they speak with. I should not have to choose between receiving accurate installation information and obtaining the best available promotional pricing. I would appreciate assistance in securing the promotional pricing and getting information on installation and service transitions. I hope this feedback reaches someone who can review both my individual experience and the broader opportunity for Xfinity to improve its customer service process.  Moving is hard enough our internet and t.v set up should not be.
