Inadequate technical support

I’ve been waiting since 28 June to get internet installed-the technician could not complete as there was no signal. Today, 7 July, a technician restored the signal. Now I have to wait until 18 July for an install. This is unacceptable.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I am so sorry to hear about the delays you've been facing, @user_mf0k9t. Our team here would be happy to take a closer look at everything and see if there's anything we can do to help or speed things along! Could you please send our team a direct message to continue?

How to send us a direct message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.

To expedite your request, we ask that you please include your name and the service address alongside a detailed summary of your request/question. Thank you!

@XfinitySara hi I’m having trouble navigating to the right place as I can’t seem to find the correct icons. Anyway can I provide the details another way?

@user_mf0k9t - Sorry about the trouble! In order to protect your privacy, we'll need to have you send us that direct message as requested. First, were you able to sign in? If so, you should see two icons to the left of your account logo in the upper right; a bell, and a text box. If you hover over the text box icon, it should say "Direct Messaging." this is what you'd want to click to get started (followed by the other instructions I outlined before). Please let me know if you're unable to locate what I'm describing, and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction!
