In store pickup

I recently placed an order for the Gigabit X2 plan with a new Gateway. I didn’t see the option to pick up in store so Im having it shipped.

I need the service to be active as soon as possible, so if I could pickup in store, that would be great.

@user_6f7cc8 Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forum. We can definitely understand wanting to get connected as soon as possible. Have you tried visiting the Xfinity Store in your area to see if they have the XB8 modem available? You may want to try that, if you are able to get one, you'll need to return the modem that is being shipped to you.

The XB7 and XB8 modems would be the only modems that support these new speeds. We haven't seen an Xfinity Store be out of stock on both of these in a long time, so you should still be ok.
