In Store Experience

I stopped today in your Branford, CT retail store to turn in equipment. This was my second trip; the first trip the transaction was handled by a cheerful, competent sales associate who took my stuff and gave me a receipt; entire transaction took less than a minute. This evening I went back to drop off the balance of my equipment. The sales associate was sitting at a desk in the back of the store with another staff member, working with a customer. She asked me why I was there, and I reported "to turn in this equipment" to which she replied, "I'm sorry, you'll need to wait." The other guy rose to help me, and she then said "sorry, he's in training" and when I asked how long the wait should be (to determine if I was going to stay) she replied "30 to 40 minutes." I suggested to her that this sort of god-awful cusotmer service was the reason I left Comcast in the first place.

It appears the wrong person was in training today in that outlet.

Hello @user_eauzau thank you for reaching out on our community forum. It sounds like you did not have a great experience, and we do not want that to be the case. Were you able to turn in the equipment at the store today?

Nope. Wasn’t waiting 40 minutes. Just another incident in a long list with the company. Disappointing but not surprising. Perhaps this staff member could use some help.
