IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL SERVICE

It is impossible to cancel your internet service with Comcast/XFINITY.  You have to request a callback, and then the scheduling service to request that fails.  Trying to cancel via 1-800-XFINITY never gets you to a real person to cancel.  I've opened a BBB complaint and a dispute with the service charge to my credit card because of the absolute impossible means to cancel my service.  So glad I switched to T-Mobile internet.

To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a Direct Message. 

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Absolutely ridiculous how complicated it is to cancel.

Reached out via the recommendation above and extremely slow responsiveness and no action.  Still not cancelled.

35 minutes via a direct message per the above instead of just a simple "click to cancel" or phone call to XFINITY.  Opened a BBB complaint.  It should never be this complicated to end service with a company.
