Immediate Safety Hazard: Unburied Temporary Drop Cable on Private Property

An Xfinity installation crew recently connected the adjacent condo units using the pedestal located on my lawn. The technicians ran a temporary coaxial drop wire directly across my property line and left it exposed on top of the grass.
This wire is serving a completely different property while creating a severe tripping and mowing hazard on mine. The neighboring homes all have internet already so why are they using my pedestal which was installed for the 3 new homes on my lot?

Please disconnect it and use a more suitable pedestal for that property.  If not possible, please issue a "Drop Bury" work order immediately to have a utility crew bury this line beneath the ground easement, or route it through a different path that does not infringe on my active lawn space.

I think yesterday.  Theres a huge white line going across my property so I wouldn't have missed it.  Thanks!

user_9rzzar, The process for line burials typically takes about 14 business days, but delays may occur due to permits, weather, or other utility markings. I would be more than happy to double-check that the request has been put in. Please send us a Direct Message. Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
