I'm done with Xfinity

I got Xfinity back in 2017. It was nice for a bit. Then I had trouble setting up the streaming box and called for help in 2021. Got it working. Then received a second box. I called customer service to return it. Returned it. No problem.

Except the next month there's a $7 fee for the box. I call and explain the situation. I'm told that's no problem. We'll refund it. It won't happen again. Thus began the monthly tradition of me having to call pretty much every month to get this fee removed. I finally just canceled my own box to make it stop.

Then, last March, I called to negotiate a lower internet price since the monthly internet discount from covid expired. My new bill was set at $20. Except the next month it was $29. Cue me calling every month again to explain. I sent receipts. I was told it was because I didn't set up payments using a bank account. I don't think you actually keep records. 

Then in December 2025, my payment was declined. I called and had it paid and the customer service rep credited me $25. I got a bill in January saying I didn't owe anything. I thought February was taken care of. Then I get a bill for $100 for March! I was going to call when I woke up the next morning to find my internet was shut off. So I called and agreed to pay $69 on the 19 of March. March 19th came and went and no money was taken out. By then other bills were taken out, so I paid $25.

Then I got a bill for $177! I called on April 8 and talked to the customer service rep and finally she put me on a payment plan of $32 starting on the 10th.

Well, today I woke up to find Xfinity had taken $132 out! That is my rent money. 

And no one will refund that. I'm lied to every time I call. And when I tried to cancel, I was told it would be $20. So I'm done. Xfinity is the worst and I will be telling everyone to stop using them.

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon 

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
