I'd like to remove my old modem from my account

I recently upgraded my modem and would like to delete the old modem from my account. Can't find an option to send a direct message, as recommended in previous threads, through the app or the website. The old modem is also not showing up in the "wifi" section of the app. Appreciate any help you can offer.

Hello @user_ac0iwc Thanks for reaching out. We'd be happy to remove any old modems from the account. Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started. 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support: 
Click "Sign In" if necessary 
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon 
Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon 
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there 
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list 
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line 
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it.
