I would like to know what the new cabling and orange markings are for on the pole on my property.

Just as it says in the Subject line.  How do I find out?  Who can I talk to?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Greetings! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about these cables and markings. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

Can you tell me a little more about the cabling? Is it black or red/orange in color? Is the cabling spooled up near the pole or does it run from the pole to your house or a neighbor's house? Do the markings indicate a path to your house or a neighbor's house, by any chance? Any details you can provide would help clarify what this could be.

There are 4 black cables - not orange fiber cable -  and they are tied to the pole with blue and white plastic tape.  Two are thick, about 5/8" in diameter, two are thinner, about 3/4" in diameter.  They are buried  at the base of the pole and the orange paint markings go off in four different directions - two into the woods, one towards my only neighbor and one in the direction of my driveway. One of the smaller ones has a new coax connector near the base of the pole.  A piece of the smaller coax was left on the ground and it appears to have 5-6 conductors within the sheath.  I hope this helps.
