I would like to know how to leave a review.

I am totally stunned by the so called "Termination Fee". I recently moved with my family out side of the service area. Didn't think anything of it as I have changed internet services many times over the years. However this time when I call to cancel my internet service I'm being told I have a fee of $60.00 on top of my final bill? Another $60.00 to no longer provide service? How does this even make since. I was completely satisfied with my experience until now. I fail to understand why I should have to pay even more money I don't have for a service I'm no longer getting... Outrageous. I have been looking for somewhere to leave a review with my experience but have not found a place. Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello user_nxkd46! I appreciate you reaching out to us here in our community forums with your concerns, and hope even more so that your recent move went smooth with the family! We're super grateful for the time your family has spent with us, so the last thing we want you to leave with is confusion surrounding your final statement. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the full service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

Can you please tell me where to leave a review? I have no interest in chatting with AI about things they cannot change. I understand that the contract has me paying 10$ per month of the contract I did not finish. The problem is that I disagree with it and do not view it as a fair practice. You guys are essentially charging people for nothing by doing this.

Per our promotional agreements, Early Termination Fees are only applied if you have to disconnect services entirely without activating service at a new one. It's these agreements that help ensure you were receiving the best rate possible during your time with us.

Formal reviews can only be left for our Xfinity app or Xfinity retail locations, but our team is happy to facilitate any feedback you have regarding the business or policies directly through our channels if you're wanting to share.

If you are under a contract and you need to cancel service, you may be subject to an early termination fee (ETF).

If you move to a Comcast serviceable area, and transfer service, you are not charged.
If you move to a Comcast serviceable area, and do not sign up for service, then the ETF would apply.
If you move to a non-Comcast serviceable area, then the ETF does apply.
If it is an active duty military deployment, then the ETF will be waived when you send documentation.
If the account holder is deceased, the ETF will be waived upon receiving a death certificate or obituary.
If you downgrade service, then the ETF will not apply.
If you have a Double/Triple Play and remove all but one service, then the ETF will not apply.

I understand that I am legally obligated to pay the fee... I don't think you guys should be charging the fee is my point. You are charging people for nothing. It takes 2 seconds to end services at residence and I think sticking it to people that are forced to switch providers is a pretty [Edited: Language] way of doing business. I feel like I'm being charged for nothing.

I totally get what you're saying, however, if you break any contract there are penalties that have to be paid.  It might not seem "fair", but it is legal because you are breaking a contract that you entered into with Comcast.

I understand and we appreciate the feedback, truly. We never want to make you feel as though your being punished during a move. While we hope more than anything to service you again in the future, should this type of situation ever come up again, just know you can always switch your services over to a non-term agreement plan prior to your disconnect at any time penalty free to not trigger any disconnect fees at the time it takes place.

100% understand that they are legally taking my money for essentially nothing. I will not be returning to Xfinity. This is clearly just a way to punish customers for leaving their service.
