XfinityZacharyA, I completely signed out of forums and my account and resigned in. When I click on the (pencil/paper)in the direct message to Xfinity support it takes me to a conversation i had with Xfinity support about 8 months ago. I still can not send a new DM. I am definitely signed in.
@nickp1 I would suggest logging out, clearing cache and cookies, then log back in and see if you can send us a DM on this post. Please note that clearing cache and cookies will remove any passwords that you have saved for other websites that you have.
It says type a message just as if I clicked on the (pencil/paper) , which I tried both ways, using the pencil/paper and bypassing that step, both instances it says couldn't send
I logged out of everything cleared cache and cookies and logged back into my account and forums. I tried sending a DM to Xfinity support I get the same response. Couldn't send. Of what I can tell when I am logged into the DM area everything seems looks as it has in the past, there is a check mark by my name like I am on the DM. on the last note from Xfinity support she said she will keep a reminder open, can this be affecting my ability to send a DM. I cant be the only person having this issue.

FYI, I Just checked my forum profile settings and the opt out of Direct messaging is NOT checked, so my end shows it should be working.
