I work 3rd shift ... How do i get notified of scheduled Xfinity Internet system maintenance outages?

I work the 3rd shift ... How do I get notified (or register for such Xfinity Internet notification) of scheduled Xfinity Internet system maintenance outages?

EXPECTATION:

I am under the assumption that I should be able to register for Xfinity Internet email and/or text messages to provide lead-time notification that there are scheduled maintenance and upgrades that will cause Internet outages.  Please stop surprising us with unproductive work-time Xfinity system-wide Internet outages.
