I was tricked to subscribe to a plan that I didn't want

I called support and asked to set me up in the address I am moving to soon. I wanted a NOW 100 plan for $30.

The agent told me flatly that the plan is not available at that address. Which was not true.

I had to agree on a much more expensive plan because I must have Internet on the day that I move.

My plan and account are not activated yet and it creates all kinds of issues with Xfinity app usage. But when I (hopefully) successfully activate it in a few days, how can I change it to the NOW plan that I want?

Thank you

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_8if53y, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. To sign up for our NOW internet, that is done from the NOW site. First, we would need to close the current account before you can sign up for the NOW services. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.
