I was scammed

Target promotion scam. I just unbelievably fell for this scam.  I had thought I was purchasing it for a real promotion. They knew all my account information and made it very believable

How could they get into and know my account information???  What happens now? I can i speak to a real xfinity person. I was scammed $450.

Unfortunately that is money that you won't be getting back.  If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

If you have gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill the FTC is well aware of this scam.  If you get a call like this you can report it to:     https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
The FTC also has a great webpage on Scams.  Please check it out as well.
For Target Gift Cards:
Call 1 (800) 544-2943 and follow Target’s instructions.
Keep a copy of the Target gift card or your store receipt.
Please help to stop the spread of this kind of fraud.
Thanks!

[Edited: "Inflammatory"]..I am out a few hundred bucks..been at Xfinity store 3 times in 5 days..they assured me my account was secure when they helped me change my id and password..but I cannot get on any of my wi fi devices even tho it says my modem is working..it's working for everyone that can connect to it except me! The last rep I talked to today at store told me well something must be wrong with router..call Xfinity for a tech..I told her I did on app and designated number..it went right to the scammers ...I know I should of known better..[Edited: "Inflammatory"] I'm giving my equipment back..cancelling service..and go without internet until I can get T-Mobiles service in my area. Antenna TV works fine for me..I hope you all get your issues resolved..people [Edited: "Language"] to steal from hard working folks .
