i want to upgrade my Internet, but nothing else

just as the title says. when i go to change my plan, i select a new internet package. but when i go to hit next, it tells me i have to change A L L ALL of my other services as well. i do not need to change any other plan details. but the site and the app both dont allow me to proceed. no phone # to call, and im not making an appointment at a store. i should not need to do anything but select package > checkout. should be very straightforward.

user_c9l4c1 We appreciate you reaching out to us over our Community Forums. We would be more than happy to help get you pointed in the right direction! You may have an older grandfathered package, or your internet plan is bundled with other services. Since we released our new Next Generation Internet plans, a total service repackage may be required for an internet speed upgrade.

i should have been notified that my plan was an older one and that it was going away. now i have to do 40 extra steps and the website STILL wont let me checkout if i change all my plan details
