I want 5 year discounted internet

I'm a gold customer living alone I only need the 300 Mbps and the streaming package for 20 and I was trying to lower my bill. My grandson paid it but he moved out and I'm on disability. Im now paying exactly what I paid before he moved, in spite of trying to lower it on multiple occasions . Now new customers can get the prices I wanted. So for 5 years they will all be paying the price I've been trying to get it at for the last 6 months. Also the essentials program isn't available to me unless I disconnect my cable for 3 months. Which is ridiculous. Situations change, people may all of a sudden have no income due to to job loss, accidents, death in family to have to go without Internet for 3 months isn't convenient for people already going thru hard times. I can't really afford the almost 100 I spend on mine, because my grandson had gaming systems and he paid the bill. Now he's moved out and I can't get back on essentials or get the same discount as newcomers.

1Also your streaming boxes are garbage. I've been thru like 5 since october. They just suddenly stop working. I have had streaming not working probably a total of three weeks over the last 5 months. It's not convenient to run to the Xfinity store every 3 weeks to swap out boxes.
