I received another box at my house for someone not there
About a month ago I received an email that there was an order to cancel my order. I called, and after having to fight with the automated system to talk with someone, I finally get a hold of a live person. They verified it was me, confirmed I did not cancel and they removed the cancel order. I get home the next day, and find a package from xfinity on my door step for someone that does not live at my house. I took this in good faith to the xfinity store to return.
I get home today: I find another xfinity box on my door step, again for someone else who does not live at my address.
- Why do I keep getting packages at my house for someone that does not live there?
- Should I be worried that for 2 times now I received equipment at my address I never ordered for a name of someone that has never lived at that address
- Why am I getting these all the time?
- From the first time, how did someone manage to put a cancel order in for my service when nothing was done to verify it was me? When I call, they send me a text to verify it is me.
- What can be done to compensate me of always having to drive to the xinifty store and wait my turn to return equipment you should of never shipped to me?
- Seeing I am getting equipment shipped to me in someone else's name, would that put me or my current account at risk if they never pay?
- I can understand a mistake of shipping something one time, but two times a very good explanation is expected of WHY.
