Why do I need to upgrade a modem for a slower speed on the internet?

Last time you sent a tech out with equipment it was the same equipment already here.

@user_ihsuan The recommended modem is dependent on the speeds you subscribe to. Also, you may have an end-of-life modem currently. We work to replace those to ensure your internet connection is the best possible. Do you know what internet speeds you subscribe to, and what model modem you have now?
