I need to cancel service
I was told to message here to get access to cancel my internet service. It hasn't been activated yet, I just bought the service a week ago and unfortunately can't get service where I am and wasn't told. Thank you

We are saddened to hear of your desire to remove your internet service, though I understand needing to do so if service is not available in your area. Though, the account should not have been able to be created at all if the location is not within our service footprint. Can you send me a direct message with your full name and complete service address to take a closer look at this?
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message.
