Hello,

I am a homeowner in Newcastle, China Falls. Last week, a Comcast construction crew arrived to install a second large utility pedestal on the easement bordering my property. They did not have the required permit documentation on site, and after we asked about it, they left and stated they would return later.

I am requesting that Comcast Engineering review this project before any further work occurs.

My concerns:

• The easement in this location is very narrow, and adding a second pedestal may exceed the usable easement footprint.
• There is already an existing Comcast pedestal in this location.
  I would like Comcast to replace the existing pedestal rather than add an additional one, if a larger cabinet is required.
• A second pedestal would create a significant visual impact on our property frontage.

  fully within the easement
  • • and does not encroach on private property.

  Please confirm:

  1. Whether a permit has been issued for this installation
  2. Whether the engineering team can authorize replacement of the existing pedestal instead of adding a second one
  3. The exact proposed location and footprint of the new equipment
  4. A field supervisor visit before work resumes
