I need help adding a second home internet line to my account for a total of 2 locations

Hello @user_bo6fd8 thank you for reaching out about adding that second location. Are you looking to add a secondary address or are these two in the same address ?(for example additional dwelling unit) Have you checked the serviceability on the new address? What issues are you running into? 

 

If you opt for an additional address, you will have a separate account number with that address but once that is established you will be able to link these and have access to your different locations when you log in. See here for managing multiple accounts under the same Xfinity ID.

I am looking to add a second physical address.  The two total lines would be at two totally different physical addresses.  The second line would actually be for an adu, but that adu has a separate physical address and in terms of relationship I have nothing to do with the primary house.  

Comcast does provide service for the address.  I just wanted to know how to properly proceed.  

Lastly with the new account will I get the "special" rates as a new customer or would xfinity consider this a already established account?

Since it is a new address it will be eligible for new customer pricing! :)

To send a direct message: 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
