I need assistance cancelling my service

I recently had sonic fiber internet installed and need to cancel my service. I can't find an option under "Manage Plan" on the website. When I call the support number I'm dropped into an intolerable phone tree and asked to wait for 20minutes. It's crazy. Please help.

Hello user_c2jppc! I'm so sorry that you are leaving Xfinity and that you are having a difficult time setting the account cancellation. No fear, we can help out. Thank you for creating the post for us here on our Xfinity Forums. 

Can you please send us a direct message with your name and service address? 

From there we will verify the account and help with removing the services. 

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send your message
