I have a x1 tv box and i want to upgrade it into x1v4 or something with a coax cable?

I recently got a new TV is a Samsung 4k OLED HDR and i want that tv resolution to be 4k but tv box can do 1080p60 HD.

so how would it cost to upgrade the x1 tv box into a 4k HDR TV box

user_tlross7, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. If you are just swapping out one box for another, there should not be a price increase. You can do this by taking your old box to the nearest Xfinity store where they can upgrade you to the new 4K box.

@XfinityAngie​ so it's not like an upgrade? Are you just swapping boxes? could you give me an example of the process? in details?

user_tlross7, There are some boxes we have in the store, and others, we may have to ship to you. It depends on if the store has them in stock or not. We can take a look and see if the store nearest you has them. Step by step, reach out to us, and we take the conversation private and get your information, Verify your account, and then we can assist you by placing the order and having the 4K box shipped to you. It takes about 3-5 days for the new box to arrive.
