I hate AI

I can't find my Wi-Fi name and password on my modem!! I tried changing the name and password but the stupid AI doesn't send you a working link. I can't talk to a live human and might consider cancelling since you guys don't have real human beings to do customer service.

Good evening @user_cy7ad6, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums with your WiFi name and password issues. To confirm, are you trying to activate new service? What model gateway are you using?

Yes! I got a new modem online and I can't find the SSID on the device and can't seem to find it via phone and computer. On the app it says it's online and working. I have a Netgear CM500 motoem.

Gotcha, thank you for confirming you have a Netgear modem @user_cy7ad6. Since that is a third party modem, I recommend reaching out to Netgear directly for assistance on locating your SSID.

I can't find my Wi-Fi name and password on my modem ... Netgear CM500 ...

The CM500 is a straight cable modem -- it doesn't have Wifi. Wifi comes from a Wifi router, or from a combo modem-router device. See https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/datasheet/en/CM500.pdf.
