I didn't get the promised discount

I was promised a discount would be automatically applied by a live agent, but I still have not seen it.

You: could you give discount 
Alex: If you finalize the process with us we do provide additional discount upon completing request. We will then send you a confirmation email where the discounts have been applied. 
You: i didn't experience that before :( 
You: fine thank you anyway 
Alex: You are welcome, you can proceed by finalizing your request, I will be here to confirm. 
Alex: You can go ahead and check the boxes and click on submit to complete your order. Once the order has been submitted I will verify on my end. 
You: So it's 40/moth 
You: can it be lowered? 
You: i had a 30/month plan before:( 
Alex: Yes! Upon submitting we send you a confirmation email and we apply an additional discount. You can view it upon receiving the email. 
You: you sure? 
Alex: Yes! 

also:

You: so i did not see any discounts after receiving the confirmation email 
You: still 40 
Alex: The discount is in process, that is what is showing on me end. 
You: okay 

So today I chatted with another live agent and was told that I need to switch my payment method to get a discount(tbh i don't want to due to security reason), which is not what I was promised earlier("Upon submitting we send you a confirmation email and we apply an additional discount.").

Will i still get the "in process" discount? Or did i just got misled? I am kind of disappointed by the inconsistency of commitment.

Hey there, @user_s2saj9. The discount in question sounds like our automatic payment/paperless billing discount. Most orders qualify to be reduced by either $10 or $5 a month depending on the payment method you use for automatic payments. You will get $10 a month if you use a bank account and $5 if you use a credit card. Both options require paperless billing to be enrolled as well. Those details are inside your confirmation emails as well. The discount details states it can take up to 45 days to be applied.

What the live agent said before sounds like a special additional discount but not a billing discount. That guy didn't explain to me anything about billing discount in a clear way but just promised me there would be discount applied automatically and urged me to finish my order. You can check the transcript about it. Maybe you can imrprove this in the future.

For future orders we are consistently working on the customer approval process to provide all of the necessary details regarding orders and changes of service.
