I am trying to cancel xfinity, getting a lot of 404 page not found errors on their site. I don't have access to my phone today.

I keep going in circles. Why can I not just cancel this service online? 

It appears to want to schedule a callback. I don't have access to a phone today!

I know congress has been working on this (making it as easy to cancel as it is to sign up). [Edited: "Political/Profanity"]

This is ridiculous that I can't cancel without a phone!

Finally got my phone working - new phone finally activated. I will call and cancel now!

•  Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary 
•  Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon) 
•  Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
•  Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line 
•  Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
•  Press Enter to send it

Because that is so [Edited: "Language"] obvious? Why do they make it this difficult? Why isn't there a support page outlining this? 

How long before they respond? Do we post a message and sit around and wait?

I waited nearly 20 minutes to the "chat". Looks like everyone is on a coffee break or gone home for the day. 

I am so glad with my decision to drop xfinity, now if they would only let me do it!
