I am so disappointed with how I’ve been treated as a loyal customer for the past 8 years!!!

We have been with Xfinity for the past 8 years (maybe more) faithfully. We recently moved to an area that is not near an Xfinity. We are now having to use Spectrum which is more costly for the same services. We are apparently still in contract with Xfinity Mobile for one cell phone you all sent us as part of a promotion (we never turned on) and are telling me there is NO WAY around that contract if we move far away from all Xfinities which is B.S. as we are having to pay for Spectrum now where we live. You would think you would cut us a break since we’ve been with you all for the last 8 years!!!! Everytime I speak to customer service, they are extremely rude to me. Half of the chats don’t even respond and act like they can’t read. This is a pathetic excuse for a company. Whoever owns it should be ashamed. I should NOT have to pay for a phone that I cannot use due to moving plus pay for other internet/phone services we actually are using. On top of that Xfinity is charging an account we no longer have and then charging late fees for each failed attempt. I am beyond livid at this point!!!

@user_7s6i4e Thanks for posting. The reps are correct, moving to an area that does not have Xfinity services poses a set of options to choose from: You can terminate Xfinity Internet, Cable, Voice, Protection and take care of any ETF's, or transfer the service to someone you know that will stay behind. Moving does not change the contract and agreement you had with any Xfinity services. For Xfinity Mobile, you can pay off the phone you purchased, or continue with any payment arrangements that are offered on the mobile statements. Stopping Xfinity Internet service disqualifies the home or customer from having Xfinity Mobile, but it does not stop the Mobile account automatically as they are separate services. It continues, with an additional $25 Line Access charge to access the Xfinity Mobile service without Xfinity Internet at home. Use this https://www.xfinity.com/cancel/mobile to set a call back in order to cancel the Xfinity Mobile service.
