I am on the 1000Mbps internet plan but only receiving 300 which was previous plan

Very [Edited: "Language"] frustrated with XFinity support. AI assistant is useless and I can't reach a human no matter what I try on the phone.

I have a hardwired Ethernet connection to my computer and am maxing out multiple speed tests around 330Mbps, instead of the 1000Mbps I should be receiving. Need someone to contact me to diagnose this ASAP.

@hw8314  Thanks for reaching out about your speed test concern. I would be happy to troubleshoot the speed problem with you. 

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

It is RIDICULOUS that I am having to jump through so many hoops just to get help. DO BETTER. Regardless of whether my issue is solved today I will be researching non-Xfinity options for my internet service. I have NOTHING good to say about how Xfinity does their customer service at this point.
